This image was on a birthday card, which me and two of my friends collaboratively worked on. I worked on drawing and colouring up Yusei, while they did the card itself.
I did the artwork with mouse, and it cramped my hand really badly! And I barely remembered to eat or drink, just trying to get it done on time for my friend's birthday. I have a tablet but it kept losing connection. And I was under a lot of stress, so I just opted for mouse. I didn't think of just changing the batteries! When under stress you don't think right!
My hand might have been a total wreck, but with the power of friendship, I persisted onwards.
It took about 3 days to finish with mouse, and I finished it two hours before the birthday party! Yikes!
I used Art Rage 3, and mouse *tears of pain*
Here's a pretty purpley scribble, that will materialize into Yusei.
I inked in his clothing first, because his hair and hand would take more time.
I wanted his hand to look like an elegant waiters' hand (but I changed it in the final version)
I inked in his hair and cake, and changed his arm.
The hand looked weird to people, so I changed it last minute! lol
And then, Yusei is finished with all his pretty colours! <3
I kept thinking that if I messed up on her most adored and treasured character Yusei, she would kick my butt! So I made it look amazing for her pretty eyes to see! n__n;; So if she ever get's angry, I'll pull up Yusei, and hopefully she has enough forgiveness in her heart, to forgive my lowly soul.
